Illinois joins a legal effort for the U.S Postal Service to convert its delivery fleet.

Illinois, 15 other states, and environmental advocates are suing the U.S. Postal Service over its plan to buy thousands of gasoline-powered trucks for its delivery fleet. The lawsuits claim the Postal Service’s environmental review had major flaws and are pushing the agency to move toward electric delivery trucks. Chicago Tonight’s Nick Blumberg has more on the effort.
