Sen. Declan O’Scanlon had questioned need for vaccine mandates
Republican state senator Declan O’Scanlon’s Twitter account was suspended over the weekend for a tweet that contended COVID-19 has been “crushed” due to natural immunity and voluntary vaccinations, and for those reasons questioned why anyone should be compelled to get vaccinated against the disease. O’Scanlon is vaccinated and has worked to boost vaccination rates in his county.
