Old foundation is modified; Jenn meets the landscape designer; Recessed beam is installed
The old foundation gets modified for the new basement. New footings must be poured under the existing foundation and prep work begins to tie the old foundation to the new. Jenn Nawada meets with the landscape designer to discuss plans for the front of the house. On the first floor, Charlie and Tom Silva install a recessed beam in order to remove some of the wall that abuts the front staircase.
